"I'm so happy to be taking part in the inaugural Logo/Trailblazers Awards. I feel privileged to salute every person fighting for LGBT rights,” Sia said in a statement to MTV News. “Backed by the incomparable New York City Gay Men's Chorus with the spectacular backdrop of The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, I'm excited to show you our inside animals!"

A Great Big World are also confirmed to perform on the special, which will also feature Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Pete Wentz as presenters. There will also be special appearances from Daniel Radcliffe, Jared Leto, Kylie Minogue, Ariana Grande, Rita Ora, Tegan and Sara, Laura Jane Grace and more.

Former R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe will honor Ugandan gay rights activist and refugee John "Longjones" Abdallah Wambere as an “International Trailblazer” for his work with Spectrum Uganda Initiatives, an organization that advocates for LGBT rights and provides health and education services to the community. Since homosexuality has been criminalized in his home country, Wambere is now seeking asylum in the United States, while continuing to advocate for LGBT rights.

The one-hour "Trailblazers" special honoring will premiere on June 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
