Now that it's beach season and all of the boys have their bods on display, you can treat yourself to a piece of man candy any day of the week, so today marks our final installment of MLB Crush Monday. But don't worry, because you can see plenty more sexy pros every Tuesday night on MTV2's "Off the Bat" at 11/10c...or, you know, at an actual baseball game or whatever.

Our last sizzling slot goes to none other than Milwaukee Brewer outfielder Carlos Gomez, who's appearing on this week's show. And here are five reasons why this born and bred Dominican slugger is muy caliente:

1. He's a pro-ball prodigy.

In 2007, Carlos made his major league debut at the age of 21, making him the youngest player in the National League at the time.

2. Real men wear pink.

Not many dudes have the confidence to rock a rose-colored necklace (or neon-bright facial hair, for that matter). But Carlos wore pastel with pride, and supported breast cancer awareness in the process.

3. He's a family man.

This picture of the proud papa with his newborn baby would make even the coldest heart melt. <3

4. His fans come first.

After a teenager met Carlos -- and cried tears of joy -- he surprised her by letting her throw the first pitch at a recent game. What more can a girl ask for (er, besides a kiss)?

5. He's a big ol' softie on the inside.

In this Fox Sports interview, Carlos chokes up when he reminisces about leaving all his loved ones behind in the Dominican Republic to chase his dreams. We're feelin' all the 'bout you?
