Sia isn't the only musician/songwriter yoinking tunes originally intended for Rihanna. Grimes announced Wednesday (June 4) that she will be performing a new song at Governor's Ball in New York Friday originally intended for RiRi.
Pre-fest, Grimes took to Twitter to give fans a taste of what's to come, tweeting:
Boucher signed to Roc Nation, Rihanna's label, at the end of 2013.
We have yet to hear when Grimes plans to release her followup to 2012's Visions -- or if the new songs (including the formerly Rihanna-fied track) will appear on that record. Regardless, a Grimes-Rihanna mashup is something that needs to be heard ASAP, so keep a listen out if you're at Governor's Ball this weekend.
