By our watch, it's just about time for the Mashed Potato dance move to make a comeback in a big way. Luckily for us, we have the brand new trailer, debuted by Yahoo!, for the James Brown biopic, "Get On Up," to show us how.

Chadwick Boseman, who knocked it out of the park as Jackie Robinson in last year's "42," portrays the legendary musician. The film, directed by Tate Taylor ("The Help"), follows Brown through his difficult childhood and eventual career success and fame. Viola Davis plays absentee mom Susie Brown.

Oh, and you're guaranteed to get at least one of Brown's standards stuck in your head after watching this trailer. Sorry, we're not sorry.

"Get On Up" is due out August 1.
