The Black Keys know not to count their album-chickens before they hatch. That's why they were already predicting that Michael Jackson's posthumous Xscape would "cocblock" their new record Turn Blue from beyond the grave before Billboard could even release its charts.
Turns out, they had more chickens than they thought -- nearly 164,000, to be precise. Turn Blue sold that many copies, propelling the band to their first-ever #1 debut.
MTV News' Jim Shearer spoke with the guys at Hangout Fest 2014 about their race to beat the King of Pop, as well as their favorite song on the record -- for today, at least.
