Demi Lovato And The Vamps Team Up For A Summer Anthem -- Listen Now

Add this remix of 'Somebody To You' to your beachside playlist

What do you get when you mix a boy band and a pop star? Pure pop perfection.

That's what happened when rising U.K. foursome The Vamps enlisted Demi Lovato to lend her power pipes to their brand new single, "Somebody to You."

The upbeat song, which is featured without Lovato on The Vamps' debut album, Meet The Vamps, dropped on Sunday (May 18). Guitarist James McVey tweeted that they were quite "lucky" to team up with Demi, who was "happy" to be part of it.

And we're so happy it's out that we highly recommend you add it to your summer playlist. The song opens with an infectious Lumineers-like chant of "Yeah, You" before bursting into a truly fun, sing-a-long. Demi and the guys then take turns singing about falling head over heels in love before blending their harmonies on the catchy chorus.

"I used to ride around/ I didn't wanna settle down/ But now I wake each day/ Looking for a way that I can see your face," Demi sings.

Many are hoping that The Vamps, who opened for Taylor Swift on her Red Tour in the U.K., will perform this song live with Demi when she hits the stage in the U.K. on June 1 for a one-night only performance at London's KOKO.

Lovato recently released an adorable, fan-driven lyric video for her latest single, "Really Don't Care," which features Cher Lloyd. Demi will perform that song when she makes an appearance on "Good Morning America" on June 6.
