'Star Wars': See The First Photo From 'Episode VII'

It has begun!

At long last, "Star Wars: Episode VII" is officially underway.

The first photo from the set has been tweeted out by none other than John Boyega, the new star of the "Star Wars" franchise. Boyega, currently appearing weekly on "24: Live Another Day" as a drone pilot falsely accused of terrorism, tweeted out a quick look at the film slate:

Weeks ago, director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm finally lifted the veil on the cast of "Star Wars: Episode VII." The cast includes Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Max von Sydow, Andy Serkis and more. Of course, original trilogy actors Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker and Peter Mayhew are on board as well.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" lands in theaters on December 18, 2015.
