Duff posted a pic of her with the "Sing" artist in the studio, all smiles. "Soooo this happened and was pretty cool. W/@edsheeran recording tonight," she wrote with a NBD attitude.
Ed told us the song will have an acoustic feel, using his signature guitar strums. And though I know the "acoustic" genre belongs to everyone, I bet the track will have a special Sheeran touch.
"The Hilary Duff song, it's a really good song," Sheeran told MTV News at Wango Tango. "It's like my sound, I guess. But that isn't really my sound. Anyone who uses an acoustic guitar is that. That's not my sound. It's everyone's sound."
Give yourself some credit, Ed. You do things with the guitar that no one does.
Masking Hilary's excitement may have been easy in her Instagram, but when we caught up with her on the iHeart Radio Music Awards red carpet earlier this month, she couldn't help but spill out some details on her upcoming project.
“It feels good to be in the studio. It feels good to be talking about my last few years -- the high points and the low points,” she told MTV News. “I really just want to be honest and be an open book for my fans to know where I’ve been and what I’ve been doing, how I feel and all that good stuff. So, I should have a single soon and an album by the fall.”
