Chief Keef's 'Bang 3' Gets A Release Date... Now Stop Asking

The controversial rapper has picked a summer date for his album.

It's back to the music for Chief Keef.

The Chicago rapper's sophomore album, Bang 3, will be released on June 10, according to an Instagram photo and caption posted by Larry Jackson, an A&R at Interscope Records.

"My adopted son @chieffkeeffsossa is trying to meltdown my phone on a Sunday. Enough with the pranks! I've got a knuckle sandwich for you when I see ya. Bang 3 is officially coming on 6/10. Stop askin' about it, pleaseeee! 😩 cc: @garymkelly," he wrote on Sunday.

The news comes just days after Keef made headlines for potential involvement in a Northfield, Illinois, shooting. Last week, the 18-year-old was questioned by police and released. His lawyer, Leah Starkman, confirmed to MTV News on Monday (March 31) morning that he has not been questioned since.

Also on Sunday, "Bang Like Chop" was released online. The song, produced by Young Chop, features both Keef and Lil Reese, and is scheduled to be on the producer's upcoming EP.

In February, Keef's manager, Peeda Pan, revealed that Bang 3 would be released as an album, rather than a mixtape, as initially planned. Plus, there will be some Chicago royalty on the project.

"Kanye will definitely be on Keef's album," he told XXL. "He reached out and it's great for someone like Kanye from Chicago and where he stands in the game to be able to reach out to that younger generation of Chicago and for them to be able to work. I'll just put it to you like this: They have several new songs. They'll be collaborating and they'll be released this year."
