Lil Wayne Breaks Into A Freestyle At The 2014 Woodie Awards: Watch Now

Weezy treats the crowd at the 2014 Woodie Awards to a taste of 'A Milli' and a freestyle.

A little Lil Wayne is better than no Lil Wayne.

The YMCMB boss has had a busy week: He released his Young Money Rise of an Empire video, shot the "Senile" music video with Tyga and Nicki Minaj and set off the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards when the show aired on MTV on Sunday (March 16).

Tunechi drove the Austin, Texas, crowd into a frenzy when he stormed out to the tune of his 2008 party-starter "A Milli," rocking black shades, a black hooded sweatshirt and funky checkered pants. Weezy didn't stay long, giving music lovers only a taste of the classic tune. "A millionaire, I'm a Young Money millionaire/ Tougher than Nigerian hair," he rapped before he pulled the plug, leaving fans wanting more.

When the beat cut, Weezy welcomed the crowd and the televised audience to the show, then graciously left a little gift in the form of a freestyle. With his usual free-associative rhyme pattern, Wayne spit about his iPhone and proved why he's at the top of rap's food chain: "You can have the eye of the tiger, I'm the one the tiger better have is eye on."
