Lena Dunham Hilariously Congratulates Adam Driver On 'Star Wars'

'Girls' costar accidentally seems to confirm, then denies confirmation of casting.

Though news just hit that Adam Driver may be in talks for the villain role in "Star Wars: Episode VII," it was only a matter of time before his celebrity friends weighed in. And so a congratulatory tweet from "Girls" co-star Lena Dunham seemed to confirm the news, in the most hilarious manner possible:

We're VERY proud of Adam Driver re: Star Wars. He's about to rip a hole in da force. Is that a thing? I guess I should see those movies?

— Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) February 26, 2014

...Except for the fact that minutes later, Dunham (again, hilariously) clarified that she knows nothing:

I confirm nothing bc I know nothing bc I'm on a plane with my dad! I just like Adam more than almost anyone, and JJ Abrams a whole lot too.

— Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) February 26, 2014

So is Dunham confirming that she too has been talks with J.J. Abrams for a role in "Star Wars?" No:

Arm Rest Wars: a trilogy about my father and me on this plane that also stars Lamby and a bag of nuts. I'm dumb.

— Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) February 26, 2014

And thus, the trilogy of tweets from Dunham on the subject is complete, at least until she sells the rights to Disney and they reboot her tweets with a brand new cast and crew.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is scheduled to open in theaters on December 18, 2015.
