See How Make-A-Wish Gave Four Girls The Grammy Week Of A Lifetime

Four lucky girls from across the nation got to attend the Grammys and be treated like celebrities.

Lauren Thornton, 17, is auditioning for "The Voice" in a few weeks, so she was star-struck when she met Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert on the red carpet at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards Sunday night.

It was the night of a lifetime for Thornton and three other girls whose Grammy wishes came true, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to granting wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses.

"Blake is not only a favorite artist, but my favorite coach on that show, so it was really great for me to be able to meet him and tell him I was planning on auditioning," Thornton said.

Julia Parmisciano, 15; Janera Smith,18; and Kellie Lorrain, 20, joined Thornton in L.A. for a week of Grammy festivities and celebrity meet-and-greets.

First they noshed with Imagine Dragons.

Then the girls ran into Demi Lovato outiside of the Grammy gifting tent.

They stumbled upon Gavin DeGraw, too.

And they met the teenage heartthrobs of Emblem3.

Makeovers, limos and the red carpet awaited the four girls Sunday afternoon where they sat front and center on the bleachers as their favorite celebrities rolled in.

They roared with Katy Perry.

Kellie met the love of her life, Hunter Hayes.

And everybody swooned when Austin Mahone made an appearance.

Then they took their seats for the show.

"Personally, my favorite performance was Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. I am a HUGE Beatles fan! Music is my passion and my entire love for the art stems from The Beatles. I grew up listening to their records at home," Thorton told MTV News.

After the show wrapped up, the girls hit up the official Grammys after-party and had an amazing time, according to Lauren.

"Overall, my favorite part of the trip was entirely just getting a taste of what the music business is about. It's my dream and ambition to pursue a career in the music business," Thronton told MTV News.

Thornton might be on her way to making her dream come true, thanks to Make-A-Wish and her surprise run-in with Blake Shelton just weeks before her audition for "The Voice." She told MTV News she'll audition with a Toby Keith or Christofer Drew song on February 2 in her hometown, Nashville, Tennessee.

"He told me to be sure to pick him when I make it on the show! It was amazing," she said.
