'Game Of Thrones' Season Four Trailer: By The GIFs

The Red Viper's arrival and Daenerys Tagaryen's march on Meereen are just some of our favorite moments from the new trailer.

When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die -- there is no middle ground. When you play the [article id="1720291"]"Game of Thrones" trailer[/article] over and over, however, you just win, every time.

We've been watching the full trailer for "Game of Thrones" season four on an endless loop ever since it dropped on Sunday, and there are a few moments that we simply can't get out of our heads. Here they are, in all of their GIFable glory:

The Mad Boy King

Heavy is the head that wears the crown, especially when that head contains an ego the size of King Joffrey Baratheon's. If Westeros' wealthiest sociopath thinks he's won the War of the Five Kings, he's got another thing coming.

The Purple Wedding

The Red Wedding was the talk of "Game of Thrones" season three, and another memorable wedding ceremony is on its way: Joffrey's marriage to Margaery Tyrell. We won't say much about the outcome of the wedding, except to say that it's a doozey.

Khaleesi Goes To War

In Essos, Daenerys Targaryen marches on Meereen, a great city fueled by slavery -- not exactly Dany's favorite institution. Expect more fire and blood as the rightful Queen of Westeros continues conquering the east.

Knives in the Shadows

Dany's trip to Meereen won't be a walk in the park like her victories over Astapor and Yunkai. Conquering Meereen means navigating the city's slithery politics and shadowy assassins -- something this poor guy can't seem to accomplish.

The Walk of Shame

Tyrion Lannister is used to things going the wrong way, but his life is about to take an epic turn for the worse, even by the Imp's standards.

The Wall of Pain

Likewise, Jon Snow's time with the Night's Watch has been a brutal experience, and it's about to get even bloodier, thanks to the impending arrival of Mance Rayder's wildlings.

The Red Viper Strikes

Make way for Prince Oberyn Martell of Dorne, destined to become one of the season's new breakout characters. Easily one of the biggest badasses in all of "Thrones" lore, the Red Viper's legacy is best summed up in his own words: "The Lannisters aren't the only ones who pay their debts."
