According to CBS, 20-year-old Imani Porter was shot in the head while sitting in a car in the parking lot of a Steak 'n Shake restaurant near Munhall, Pennsylvania. The shooting took place around 8 p.m., and Porter was rushed to UPMC Mercy Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Detectives were searching for at least two suspects who were spotted in the restaurant's parking lot and reportedly took off on foot after the shooting. By 1:30 p.m. on Thursday (January 9), 17-year-old Jaron Young had turned himself in to authorities.

Officials reportedly found heroin in the victim's car, as well as at the scene of the shooting. "One of the things we look for is motive, and the drugs being present lends itself to some type of illegal activity prior to the shooting," Lt. Andrew Schurman of Allegheny County Police told CBS' KDKA 2 station.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette added that Porter was likely shot during a robbery attempt.

On Thursday morning, Wiz tweeted, "Woke up sleazy. Bong rips for my bro," likely in reference to Porter.
