Pusha T Keeps His Neptunes Resolution: See The Pic

Pusha promised to work with Chad and Pharrell on sophomore album 'King Push', and he's keeping true to his word.

Pusha T promised fans that he'd kick off 2014 by heading into the studio with The Neptunes, and the G.O.O.D. Music rapper is keeping true to his word.

"I don't know when I'm dropping the next [album], but I can tell everybody, January 2, me Pharrell and Chad [Hugo] are going in the studio for 20 days," Pusha told Miss Info in December. "That's what's gonna start off the King Push album."

Sure enough, Push shared evidence of the first studio session on Thursday night, posting two photos of himself at work with Pharrell and Chad, with the captions, "1/2/14 if you know, u know..." and "Starting now............................"

There was one fan in particular who was thrilled to hear the news, and that was Tyler, the Creator. He's long declared himself a fan of the Clipse, and at this point, he has a close working relationship with The Neptunes. He quoted a line from the Clipse's hit "Keys Open Doors," tweeting, NOW U AINT GOTTA QUESTION WHY PUSHA DONT FEEL YA... NOW GET THE F---K OFF!!!!"

The Neptunes were responsible for crafting the Clipse's major-label debut album Lord Willin' as well as Hell Hath No Fury. Pusha finally dropped his anticipated solo album My Name Is My Name in October, with a Pharrell assist on the track "S.N.I.T.C.H."

Maybe we can expect a Clipse reunion album next? Skateboard P is pretty sure it's coming.

"Oh they will [reunite],"Pharrell told MTV News last spring, when asked about the possibility of another Clipse album. He added that he would explore new territory to help them produce it. "I'm gonna have to find an untapped zone and just present something different that people haven't felt before. ... I don't know what the sounds would sound like, or what the vibes would be, but at that moment the arrow will present itself to me and I'll just listen and follow it."
