What Feud? Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera Remix 'Do What U Want': Listen

After duetting on 'The Voice' finale last month, the two singers take it to the studio.

What feud? Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera are giving fans a studio version of the Mother Monster's song, "Do What U Want," weeks after performing the track together on the season finale of "The Voice."

While the DJ White Shadow-produced ARTPOP album version features R. Kelly (and Rick Ross dropped a few lines in the remix), the two pop singers shed the guys' part for a female-empowerment version of the single. It plays up the song's theme of taking on haters and critics, thanks to some help from "pink champagne, gold lame, hair and fearlessness."

The Gaga/Xtina collaboration comes years after the two singers were once rumored to be in a feud with one another. Xtina addressed the beef in both 2008, when she shared she didn't even know who Gaga was, and again 2010, trying to play down the rumored beef between the two pop singers. Back in September, Gaga addressed the feud during an episode of "Watch What Happens Live" ahead of releasing the collaboration.

"All I know was that people were talking about Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga in the same sentence ... and I was nobody," Gaga said. "I just think it's very unfair of anyone to pit another woman against another woman especially in the space of music when we are all just trying to be taken seriously at all ... as females because we're not taken seriously as real musicians. And Christina is an incredible vocalist and an incredible artist. From me to her, I'm so sorry for anything that anyone ever said to her because of my existence."

With the Aguilera version of "Do What U Want" available for purchase, fans are still eagerly awaiting the video for the R. Kelly version of the track. Directed by Terry Richardson, the video has yet to get a release date.
