Katniss may have broken box-office records, but there's a new bow and arrow-wielding heroine headed to the big screen.
"I wish I could say I was even remotely as skilled as Tauriel looks, but I wasn't," she says. "I think I got good at looking skilled. Really, that's our craft. That's what we do, unless you're a complete method actor then you get good at looking like you know what you're doing."
Tauriel is so gifted, Lily proclaims, that the actress would wager her character to handily beat Jennifer Lawrence's "Hunger Games" lead in a matchup.
"It's an unfair battle because Tauriel's an elf and Katniss is a human," Lily says. "Elf on human, the elf will always win. Every time. But Katniss is pretty badass."
Lawrence hasn't been shy about her own lack of prowess with a bow and arrow. During MTV's recent televised special, "Catching Fire Fan Tribute," the 23-year-old dished on one of her more embarrassing moments on set. "I was running and I whacked myself in the head with my bow so hard that I flew my own self backwards," Lilly said.
"Her and I, maybe we could just have a cup of tea," Lily muses of a potential meeting between the stars.
We'll bring the scones!
