Xbox One Drops At Midnight And Rich Homie Quan Already Has A Song For It

Rich Homie Quan sings for Xbox One on 'RapFix Live'

The entire gaming world is counting down the hours until Microsoft releases its [article id="1717772"]Xbox One[/article] at midnight on Friday. Diehards are already camped out in front of retailers just to get their hands on the hot-ticket gaming and entertainment console.

In New York City, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will perform at Microsoft's launch party in Times Square on Thursday (November 21). But the electronics giant should've considered booking rising rap star Rich Homie Quan as well -- after all, he did just make a new Xbox One dedication song.

At the urging of "RapFix Live" host Sway Calloway, Quan agreed to participate in a little game during Wednesday's show. The "Type of Way" rapper dug his hand into a hat filled with slips of paper on which we included a variety of topics. Quan pulled one out and would then have to write a catchy hook for it on the spot.

Quan's first pick was Toronto mayor Rob Ford, but after he admitted that he knew very little about the crack-smoking political figure, he picked another slip.

"You just got your new Xbox One and you're super-excited," Quan read aloud.

After DJ Mustard dropped a beat, it only took seconds for Quan to get to work, even taking shots at the gaming competition. "Playstation gotta go, just got an X-Box/ Not Nintendo 64, just got an X-Box," he rapped in the same melodic style that made his breakout hit "Type of Way" such a success.

Don't take our word for it though, click the video embed and watch Quan freestyle.
