When Ariana Grande and The Wanted's Nathan Sykes announced that they were dating, they instantly became one of the cutest couples in pop music.

Collaborating on "Almost is Never Enough" got rumors swirling, but, as Sykes told us during "Live From MTV," it wasn't until they visited the most magical place on earth that they decided to make it official.

"Basically we went out to Disneyland and had a great day," he revealed. "And we always said leading up to that when there was something official to announce and that's exactly when we announced it and everyone was like 'mmm is something happening there?' "

The two announced the not-so-secret news to their fans via Twitter, with Sykes revealing that he was "so happy" while Grande explained the reasoning behind their big reveal.

"we hesitated saying anything as people can be a bit insensitive but thank u ♡," Grande tweeted. "we value all of your happiness, thank you for valuing ours :)"

However, whether fans approve or disapprove of this relationship, these two are enjoying their time together. "It's going very well. I'm very very happy and she's amazing," Sykes said before admitting that he'd "love to" write another song with his girlfriend. "So yeah, I'm very lucky."

And it seems his other half agrees, with Ariana wanting to write about her new-found romance.

"I'm the happiest I've ever been and I'm learning a lot of lessons from this relationship. I think that's beautiful and it's something that should be expressed," she said to Notion, adding, "You best believe I'm going to be writing about him."
