Justin Bieber Is Smiling To Keep From Crying In New 'Believe Clip

'You always gotta keep a smile on your face,' Bieber says in another sneak peek at the documentary due out on December 25.

Haters gonna hate. It's a fact of life that Justin Bieber, 19, has learned well during his rise to international stardom. And, if the new teaser clip uploaded on Friday (October 18) from the singer's upcoming documentary, "Believe," is any indication, the 3D film will devote some time to Bieber working out his love-hate relationship with detractors.

"You always gotta keep a smile on your face," Bieber says in the 52-second clip in which he waxes philosophical on grinning through the tears. "Through all the negativity ... you've gotta hide your emotions sometimes, especially for me going on stage," he continues as his crew, and director Jon Chu, look on.

Even if he was just going through a big argument and is heated before a concert, Bieber says he knows when it's time to get loaded into the "toaster" device that shoots him up through the stage floor, his game face has to be on.

"Then I gotta rise up on the toaster and ... it's like I'm upset and I don't want to have to smile and put on a happy and be ... but sometimes you just gotta suck it up," he says. "That's just one of the things you have to deal with being in this position in this world, in this industry."

In the next shot, we see Bieber doing the toaster launch and hitting the fireworks-lit stage as fans freak out and the words "There's more to his story," flash across the screen.

In conjunction with his ongoing Music Mondays series, Bieber has launched a parallel #FilmFriday countdown, promising weekly peeks at the documentary, which is due out on December 25. Last week he treated us to a look at his [article id="1715521"]budding manly mustache[/article]
, which manager Scooter Braun mercilessly teased him about.

"#filmfriday #believemovie LIKE this if you are reeeaaaddyyy!!!!!!" director Chu wrote on Friday, which also brought the news that [article id="1715803"]two new Bieber songs[/article]
will drop next week, "Hold Tight" and the Tyga collabo "Wait for a Minute."

Whether the singer is happy, sad or both, Beliebers are freaking out about the movie. "@jonmchu I seriously cannot wait until #BelieveMovie comes out," wrote one. "I know it will be incredible. So proud of my idol @justinbeiber." Another said that level of excitement was modest in her opinion. "@jonmchu READY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT," she said.
