Selena Gomez performed on Thursday night's "Late Show with David Letterman," and all she wanted to do was make it all [article id="17112280"]"Slow Down."[/article]
The 21-year-old appeared on the late-night staple in between dates on her [article id="1712155"]Stars Dance Tour[/article]. She took the stage in a midriff-baring black top paired with a double-slit skirt and heated up the talk show with her sensual dance single. Letterman teased her, saying the sexy performance gave him chest pains.
Gomez didn't just hang out with Letterman during her time in the Big Apple. The singer also chilled with the Selenators who waited outside the show's studio to catch a glimpse of the pop star and posed for pictures.
The night before she appeared on Letterman's show, she promised her fans she'd take some time to greet them, after sharing that she wasn't allowed to Instagram from her show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday night.
E! Online reported that Gomez got teary-eyed during the gig, supposedly during the breakup track "Love Will Remember," but she later explained that she got upset because she couldn't use the social media site. It remains unclear why she couldn't Instagram during the show.
She said, "Never ended such a beautiful show in tears because they wouldn't allow me to Instagram tonight. Completely heart broken and pissed."
Gomez is back on the road Friday night (October 18), when she will take the stage at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Her massive Stars Dance Tour will continue through December 14, when it wraps up at Boston's TD Garden.
