Drake Tour Will 'Continue As Planned'; Future Weighs In

'I am set to continue as planned with Drake and Miguel on the 'Would You Like A Tour?' tour,' Future tells MTV News in written statement.

Something happened with Drake and Future on the way to Pittsburgh, but now the hip-hop heavyweights are all set to link up on the road after a reported rift.

In a written statement provided to MTV News, Future said, "I am set to continue as planned with Drake and Miguel on the 'Would You Like A Tour?' tour slated to begin on October 18th in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm looking forward to hitting the road this fall. Love4Life Honest."

Drake announced the tour in June, but has run into a few hiccups since then. With a planned September 25 start date in Portland, Oregon, Drake postponed the run and moved the early dates. He cited an "intense rehearsal schedule" as well as "technical production requirements" and moved the Portland date to December.

All seemed to be settled before things went awry earlier this week. On Tuesday, Page Six reported that Future was kicked off the tour after making some unflattering comments about Drake's Nothing Was the Same album to a Billboard reporter.

In the comment, which was later removed from the story, Future was quoted as saying, "Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn't grab you. They're not possessive; they don't make you feel the way I do."

Though some reports have suggested Future was set to fire back at Drake with a lawsuit, MTV News was unable to confirm whether Future was ever actually kicked off the tour or whether there were ever plans for a lawsuit.

Whatever the drama, both rappers appear to have put it behind them. "Back in Atl getting ready for tour..1st stop Pittsburgh," Future tweeted on Thursday (October 17).
