"We showed way more skin and did way more stuff for the video than what is actually there," Spears said. "I cut out, like, half the video because I am a mother; I have children. And it's hard to play sexy mom while you're being a pop star as well, but I have to just be true to myself and feel it out when I do stuff."
Being true to herself certainly paid off, as her dance moves and S&M-inspired outfits that have her Britney Army rejoicing that their "bad bitch" is back.
"It's great. The reaction has been incredible. Everyone is gushing about it, I'm really happy about it," Spears' manager Larry Rudolph told MTV News. "I think she looks amazing in it, her performance is amazing, the concept was great; not many people have live sharks in their video. I can't say [how much it cost] but it wasn't cheap."
And even though Mor told MTV News that there was "no going backwards" after "Work Bitch," it seems like Spears is ready to take things old school.
"Sometimes I would like to bring it back to the old days when it was just one outfit through the whole video and you're just dancing the whole video and there's not that much sex stuff going on, it's just about the dance..." Spears said. "I would love to do a video like that."
