MTV and MTV2 have just launched brand-new apps for the iPhone and iPad that will give you access to both networks' current hits, not to mention iconic retro shows and original content.

So whether you want new episodes of "Catfish" and "Teen Wolf" or classic eps of "Beavis and Butt-head" and "Daria," they'll be there for you whenever you want 'em ... and so will exclusive after-shows, cast interviews and thousands of pieces of digital content from MTV News, Buzzworthy and MTV Style (to name just a few) and web series like "RapFix Live" and "House of Style." Then there's brand-new content courtesy of MTV Other: "Late Night Munchies," where indie acts show off their skills in the kitchen, "Inside Joke," produced in conjunction with Splitsider.com, and "Rock Stories," an animated series featuring "120 Minutes" host Matt Pinfield recounting some of his craziest rock n roll memories.

Sound good? Well, get to downloading ... and don't worry, these apps don't cost a dime.

Each app also offers an experience called "Connect," that will allow fans to discuss and interact with their favorite shows, plus yearly events like the Video Music Awards, VH1 Divas, the CMT Music Awards and LOGO's NewNowNext Awards in real time. The apps also feature new functionality that add to the live-viewing experience, including polls, quizzes, factoids, and exclusive videos, photos and audio.

In the coming months, we'll also roll out additional brand apps for VH1, CMT and LOGO on iOS with plans to launch the MTV/MTV2 app on Android and Xbox by the end of the year.
