It's a girl for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian! On Sunday night's premiere of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kim shared with the world that she'll be stocking up on lots of pink before the baby's summer due date.
But given that Kanye has gone on the record in a recent [article id="1707444"]onstage tirade[/article] that he "ain't no mother----ing celebrity," it might seem surprising that his girlfriend revealed their unborn baby's gender in such a public way. Little sister Khloe Kardashian opened up to MTV News about their decision to let cameras roll when she found out the sex, noting the normally private rapper and the spotlight-loving starlet discussed it all before it hit the air.
"Kim and Kanye, they both mutually agree on obviously what they want to have on the show or not," she said earlier this week, ahead of the episode's premiere. "And so I think everyone is curious and wants to know. And we have opened up so much of our lives, so I think it's only natural. And I'm excited. I'm excited for everyone to find out so I can stop holding in information."
During the episode, Kim opened up about having a baby girl with her rapper beau. "I'm so excited we're having a girl," she said. "Who doesn't want a girl? They're the best and I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted. He wanted a little girl."
So it's another girl for and already female-heavy clan, but Aunt Khloe didn't seem to mind what gender the baby is, adding, "I honestly, I really don't care. I mean [Kourtney's son] Mason and [daughter] Penelope are so amazing and so cute. I love having all the babies around, so I don't care. I'm sure there's going to be a million more anyways."
The same day the season-eight premiere episode aired, Kim and her family started the countdown to Baby Kimye with a [article id="1708182"]"garden chic" baby shower[/article] in L.A. Gossip lovers had already guessed that the couple was having a girl after an image of their very feminine [article id="1707865"]music -box invite[/article] made its way online, featuring a ballerina dancing to Yeezy's 2005 Late Registration track, "Hey Mama."
