Kanye West Goes On Epic Rant: 'I Ain't No Mother----ing Celebrity!'

In furious tirade at Adult Swim upfronts, performer slams paparazzi and warns not to expect any 'SNL' skits from him this weekend.

Kanye West had more than a few things to get off his chest when he took the stage on Wednesday night at New York's Roseland Ballroom. But the rapper certainly made two things clear: He doesn't like the paparazzi and he "ain't doing no mother----ing 'SNL' skits."

West, who's slated to perform during this weekend's [article id="1706435"]"Saturday Night Live" season finale[/article], was on hand as featured entertainment for the Adult Swim upfronts. But he used the stage to lash out at the paparazzi, among other things. According to Complex magazine, which posted some video from the TV industry event, Yeezy went on an expletive-filled tirade during his hour-long set.

"One thing about me, I'm the worst kinda ... celebrity because all I do is make real music. All I do is sit in the studio and make real, real sh--. And that's it," he said, half-singing. "That's mother----ing it. That's mother----ing it. So I don't want nobody trying to run up on me with no cameras, trying to sell pictures and sh-- to magazines, asking me no dumbass questions, throwing me off of my focus and sh--," he continued. "Harassing you all mother----ing day. I ain't no mother----ing celebrity."

Over the last week, Yeezy has been snapped by photographers walking into a street sign and, days later, having trouble driving his Lamborghini through the gates at pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian's house. And while many celebrities use "SNL" has a platform to poke fun at those types of situations, West made it clear that he won't.

West said a friend asked him whether he planned to go on 'SNL' and " 'do, like, a skit about the paparazzi and sh--and, like humanize yourself?' "But Kanye's response was simple: "I ain't here to apologize to no mother----ers, man. It ain't about me humanizing myself. At what point did I become un-human where I had to turn myself back? Or maybe I was demonized. Or maybe I was treated inhumane and not human in that kind of situation," he told the Big Apple crowd.

The rant continued with West arguing that he is not a celebrity. West, though, is expecting his first child with reality TV phenomenon Kardashian, currently one of the most-photographed celebrities and a tabloid staple along with her family.

"I ain't no mother---ing celebrity. I ain't running for office. I ain't kissing nobody's mother----ing babies. I drop your baby and you sue me and sh--," he shouted. "I'm trying to make some music that inspires people to be the best they can be. I don't want nobody to ask nothing else of me. Don't ask nothing else of me. Mother----ers chasing you down, 'bout to make you crash and sh--, and all they want is one n---a to laugh and sh--," West went on about the relentless paparazzi. "Hell nah, I ain't doing no mother----ing 'SNL' skits; this my goddamn life. This ain't no mother----ing joke. That's it. Stop that sh-- right there."

According to NME, West also performed a new track, one that [article id="1707219"]Hudson Mohawke[/article] teased during his DJ set at the Free Form Festival in Warsaw, Poland. West himself previewed the song when he performed at the [article id="1706915"]Met Gala[/article] earlier this month. Not much else is known about the rapper's upcoming album, though he did get fans buzzing when he tweeted the words "June Eighteen," prompting speculation it might be a release date.
