YOUR FAVORITE MTV SHOWS ARE ON PARAMOUNT+

Justin Bieber, Frank Ocean To Duke It Out At O Music Awards

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Tyler, the Creator are also nominated at the fourth annual awards show.

The O Music Awards are back, and this year, MTV, VH1 and CMT are throwing a host of new and equally wacky categories into the mix. Frank Ocean, Tyler, the Creator, Justin Bieber and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are all vying for prizes at the fourth annual show, but the question undoubtedly on everyone's minds is: Who will take home the coveted trophy for Too Much Ass?

The annual O Music Awards honor innovators in music, culture and technology. Returning categories include Digital Genius Award, Fan Army FTW, Best Web-Born Artist, Must Follow Artist on Twitter, Best Music App, Too Much Ass for TV and Best Artist Instagram. But when it all kicks off on June 19, there will be five new awards for the taking: Make a Band Famous; Next Big Scene, honoring emerging musical genres and trends; Most Inspiring Fan Outreach, honoring artists who use technology to connect with fans; Analog Genius, for the artist using outdated technology in updated ways; and the bound-to-be-fan-favorite Friday, Friday Award, "a salute to viral trends we wish would go away."

Ocean and Beck lead the way with two nominations apiece. (Ocean is up for Must-Follow Artist on Twitter and Too Much Ass, while Beck is competing for Best Interactive Music Video and Analog Genius.) Pop heavyweights Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and Ed Sheeran will all go head to head in the fiery Fan Army FTW category. Also nominated are Tyler, the Creator (Best Artist Instagram), David Bowie (Too Much Ass for TV), Macklemore and Ryan Lewis (Best Web-Born Artist).

And the best part? It's all up to you! Voting kicked off on Wednesday morning (May 16) over at OMusicAwards.com. Log on through your Facebook or Twitter account to cast your vote up to 50 times a day (check out OMusicAwards.com for how you can increase that number though). The winner of the inaugural Make a Band Famous award will have the opportunity will perform at the O Music Awards and get a shot at chance to perform during VMA weekend in August and will be named one of MTV's coveted Artists to Watch. There are currently 10 bands up for that honor, and on May 31, only five will remain.

The awards return June 19 at 7 p.m. ET as a part of "Live Music Day," a 24-hour, live-streamed party featuring performances from around the country. More than 50 bands will perform and Roots drummer ?uestlove will host an all-day drum-a-thon to serve as the party's heartbeat. Take it from us; this is a party you won't want to miss.
