Thanks to Sneak Peek Week, the week before MTV Movies Awards has meant a bunch of preview screenings for some of the summer’s biggest movies with Hollywood’s biggest stars. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that MTV Sneak Peek Week is coming back for a third year, and this year’s lineup just might be the most outrageous yet.
As the perfect lead up to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards starring Rebel Wilson, we will be bringing you exclusive clips from some of the summer’s most anticipated films and interviews with the casts and filmmakers starting on April 8.
It all kicks off with “This Is the End,” the apocalyptic comedy with just about every hilarious actor making at least a cameo. Stars Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, and co-director Evan Goldberg will be stopping by Universal City Walk to share some of the end of times insanity.
We’re hoping that you’re ready to get your sweat on because when Michael Bay and the cast of “Pain and Gain” present a clip from their upcoming heist comedy, they’re really going to bring it. Mark Wahlberg, Rob Corddry, Ken Jeong, Bar Paly and Michael Bay will show us what it takes to build some muscle.
“Parks and Rec” star Aubrey Plaza and “Friday Night Lights'” former QB #1 Scott Porter will be sharing their “To Do List,” a comedy about a high school senior who wants to catch up on the— let’s call them— extracurricular activities she missed out on by studying all of the time.
Then “The Heat” will be on. “Bridesmaids” all-stars Melissa McCarthy and director Paul Feig will present a clip on their latest collaboration, which also stars Sandra Bullock. The two actresses play two unlikely law enforcement partners who have to team up to bring down a notorious drug lord.
Finally on Friday, it’s time for “The Bling Ring,” a wild tale starring “Harry Potter” alum Emma Watson and based on the true story on teenagers robbing the homes of Hollywood’s hottest stars. Watson and her costars (Katie Chang, Israel Broussard, Taissa Farmiga and Claire Julien) will be on-hand for the chat.
It all leads up to the biggest night in movies, the 2013 MTV Movies Awards, starring Rebel Wilson as the host. The polls are open now, so this is your chance to vote your favorite film into Golden Popcorn glory in categories like Best Shirtless Performance and Best WTF Moment.
