Consequence Won't Press Charges On Joe Budden After 'Love & Hip Hop' Fight

Conflicting tweets from the rappers make details of Tuesday night's fight unclear.

They may be reality show co-stars, but there is absolutely no love between VH1's "Love & Hip Hop" stars Joe Budden and Consequence. On Tuesday night, the two MCs got into a pair of scraps during the taping of the series' reunion special and then gave separate accounts on Twitter and on the radio. VH1 also confirmed the drama on their blog.

It all began after Consequence struck Budden during a break in the taping. According to Joe, Cons hit him from behind and then ran off. Things seemed to die down, but picked up again during the evening. "Just Smacked The SH-- outta @JoeBudden at the #LHHReunion Everybody have a Nice Day.... #QueensAllDay," Cons wrote on Twitter after the first incident.

Budden then fired off a few tweets of his own alleging that Cons hit him from behind, and his ex-girlfriend and "Love & Hip Hop" co-star Tahiry Jose came to Joe's defense and struck Consequence before he ran off. The Slaughterhouse MC then put a call into Hot 97 radio personality Angie Martinez and told her that he intends to invite Consequence into a bathroom, hinting that the two can settle their differences where no cameras or VH1 security will be present.

Details are sketchy, but a second altercation seems to have taken place late last night and police got involved. "Yo @ItsTheCons u good or nah," Budden tweeted, showing sarcastic concern after the second incident occurred. "Hope son ight, I was headed home & seen dude talking to police while Jen was crying.. #QueensAllDay tho."

It didn't take long for Cons to fire back. "@JoeBudden Y'all hit like bitches #straightlikethat Actually Tahiry hit me harder n---a. I told the Police that I don't press charges," he wrote.

MTV News reached out to the NYPD, who couldn't provide any information at press time. The "Love & Hip Hop" reunion special will air on April 8.
