"Love to big man Will Smith for the great talk yesterday. We know the truth and we must stand tall. Love u man! thanks!" Bieber tweeted on Saturday.

Jada Pinkett Smith went even further, penning a lengthy open letter on her Facebook page on Sunday. Titled "Are We Bullying Our Young Artists?" the story was accompanied by images of Bieber, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and 9-year-old Oscar nominee Quvenzhane Wallis.

"How can we ask for our young stars to have a high level of responsibility if we are not demonstrating that same level of responsibility towards them?" Jada wrote. "I was trying to differentiate cyber-bullying from how we attack and ridicule our young stars through media and social networks ... Do we feel as though we can say and do what we please without demonstrating any responsibility simply because they are famous? Is it okay to continually attack and criticize a famous 19 year old who is simply trying to build a life, exercise his talents while figuring out what manhood and fame is all about as he carries the weight of supporting his family as well as providing the paychecks to others who depend on him to work so they can feed their families as well?"

Bieber has been tight with the Smith family for a while, even featuring buddy Jaden Smith on his 2010 song [article id="1640447/"]"Never Say Never."[/article] In fact, the owners of a London club reportedly would not let Justin into his own birthday party on March 1 because 14-year-old [article id="1702924"] Jaden Smith[/article] showed up.

In response to the club's assertion, Bieber railed on Instagram: "U think Will is letting his 14 year old in a club, I don't think so. 2nd I love how the club wanted to give the press another reason to why we didn't stay at their weak ass club so they wouldn't look bad for me walking in and right back out. I said m 'worst bday' but that was due to dummies pushing over my fans and being overly aggressive. Btw it wasn't the worst bday cuz all my friends from back home flew in I was just mad in the moment."

But they aren't the only ones who have Bieber's back, as [article id="1703377"]One Direction members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson[/article] spoke up for the star as well.
