MTV Movie Awards: Prepare For The Nomination Spectacular!

Host Rebel Wilson, JWoww and other MTV favorites will reveal all of the nominees and categories on Tuesday (March 5).

The 2013 MTV Movie Awards are still over a month away, but the nominations are coming your way this week.

Brace yourself for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards Nomination Spectacular on Tuesday, a multiscreen event that will reveal the full list of categories and nominations for this year's show. At 7:58 p.m. ET, [article id="1699307"]host Rebel Wilson[/article] joins forces with MTV News' Josh Horowitz to kick off the event and announce the nominees for the coveted Movie of the Year award. Afterwards, join Horowitz at MTV.com for a 30-minute live-stream where he'll be joined in the studio by Jenni "JWOWW" Farley of "Snooki & JWOWW" and "Jersey Shore" fame -- as well as a round-up of other MTV favorites, like the cast of "Teen Wolf" and Vinny Guadagnino -- to help reveal the remaining nominees and unveil brand-new categories, like Best Shirtless Performance and Best Musical Moment.

Once the live-stream ends, voting for the Movie Awards will open at movieawards.mtv.com.

If that's not enough Golden Popcorn goodness for you, then chew on this: every Friday from March 8 through April 12, MTV is turning your living room into a home theater all its own with "Rated MTV: Movie Awards Edition." Hosted by MTV's movie guru Josh Horowitz, the six weeks of "Rated MTV" will provide movie fans with a destination for fan-favorite films and breaking Movie Awards news, accompanied by interviews with all kinds of celebrities including Nick Offerman from "Somebody Up There Likes Me."

It all leads to MTV Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week, taking place during the week of the Movie Awards. For the third straight year, MTV and Horowitz are bringing you a weeklong screening of the summer's hottest films. From April 8 through April 12, cast members from the to-be-announced movies will be on hand every night at 11 p.m. ET to present an on-air clip before heading to MTV.com for a 30-minute sit-down interview with Horowitz. Stay tuned for the announcement on which movies will be seen at Sneak Peek Week.
