Tom Cruise's New 'Oblivion' Trailer: Watch Now

Tom Cruise thriller gets a second teaser, now with more Olga Kurylenko.

"Is it possible to miss some place you've never been? To mourn a time you never lived?"

Tom Cruise has questions and is looking for answers in the latest trailer for his upcoming sci-fi thriller "Oblivion."

Video: Oblivion - exclusive trailer

Written and directed by "Tron: Legacy" helmer Joseph Kosinski, "Oblivion" takes place 60 years after an unspecified invasion -- one that mankind won at the expense of planet Earth. Now, the only inhabitants that remain are members of the "mop-up crew," including drone repairman Jack Harper (Cruise), who works in an effective team with Victoria (played by Andrea Riseborough). But, as you may have guessed, there's more to the story than that. Jack has visions of a mystery woman (played by Olga Kurylenko) whom he's never met but later comes face to face with during an unexpected attack. Whisked away by rebel Malcolm Beech (played by Morgan Freeman), Jack is told "they" lied to him and sets out to right the wrong.

In keeping with the first trailer released in December, little is revealed about the true nature of the decades-ago attack on Earth.

"I think the trailer does a good job at hinting that the film does have a number of twists and turns and there are hard questions being asked and there is a character who is under pressure," Kosinski told MTV News late last year.

But, if you're a Kurylenko fan, you can take solace in the fact that we see a lot more of her (albeit with little accompanying dialogue) in this latest look.

"Oblivion" hits theaters April 19.
