If you’ve ever been to a Lil Wayne show, you know the Louisianimal leaves it all on the stage every night. While we here in the U.S. are no strangers to Weezy’s rock star ways, in 2013, his fans overseas will be able to see the Young Money boss live and direct. Oh yeah, and he’s bringing Mac Miller and 2 Chainz with him.
On Tuesday (December 18), Team Weezy announced his first-ever 15-date European arena tour, which will take the “No Worries” MC through 10 different countries including France, Germany, Sweden and Norway, with the kickoff show taking place March 8 at the O2 Arena in Dublin, Ireland. 2 Chainz, who performed alongside Wayne at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards , will be joining his buddy on the run, as will Mac Miller, who is prepping his sophomore LP, Watching Movies With the Sound Off, for a 2013 release.
While Weezy collaborated on “Questions” for Miller’s 2011 Macadelic mixtape , the rapper’s relationship with 2 Chainz goes back even further and is deeper than music. “I knew Chainz so long, before I knew he was rapping,” Wayne told MTV News back in November when he sat with Sway Calloway after premiering his “No Worries” video.
“When he came with his song, I gave him that ‘Duffle Bag Boy’ hook, and history from there,” Weezy explained of their first 2007 collaboration back when 2 Chainz was a part of the group Playaz Circle.
