The Wanted Melt Hearts (And Snow) Singing 'White Christmas': Watch Now!

Boy band performs classic Christmas track for MTV's '12 Holidaze' and talk about their plans for a 2013 that's even 'busier' than 2012.

There's only one week until Christmas is upon us, which means panic mode sets in for some last-minute shoppers, but for others, it's time to enjoy all that comes along with the holiday spirit, including those inescapable Christmas songs.

This year, we decided to put a different spin on these holiday tunes by asking some of our favorite artists to serenade us with a Christmas classic in what MTV is calling the "12 Holidaze." Helping us celebrate the fifth day of the holidays are The Wanted.

The British-Irish boy band got into full holiday spirit as they harmonized a pitch-perfect version "White Christmas" amid a snowy set complete with snowmen, twinkle lights and an adorable golden retriever named Stormy.

Yet, it wouldn't be a Wanted performance without some humor. Max George took full advantage of the set's fake snow, turning himself into an awkward-looking Santa Claus, covering his face and head with white cotton, and completing the look with a full beard. George's version of Santa may have scared off Stormy the dog, who got up and left the performance, only to come back moments later to the boys' excitement.

The Wanted got in the holiday spirit early this year, performing at several Jingle Ball concerts, including Z100's annual concert at New York's Madison Square Garden. They are currently taking some much-needed time off after a pretty busy 2012.

Yet, their break will be a short one since the guys are planning to get back into the studio to continue working on their upcoming third album, which they hope to release in April.

"We are doing a lot more recording in January in the UK," Jay McGuiness recently told MTV News. "We are going to go to a house together and do some writing."

But don't worry, TWFanmily, these boys won't be in seclusion for long since they are planning to get back on the road in 2013.

"We are looking to do a huge world tour," Tom Parker said. "Go back to different countries we've visited this year. We are going to do South America, do a tour in the U.S., our arena tour in the U.K. and then we've got our album coming out as well, in fact, we might do two albums. We are talking about next year, so we are going to have a busy year, if not busier than this year."
