Beyonce Plotting 'Irreplaceable'-Level Tracks With Ne-Yo

Ne-Yo tells MTV News he's working with B on her anticipated 2013 album release.

It's been six years since Beyoncé dropped her kiss-off anthem, "Irreplaceable." Full of swagger and that unforgettable hook, the track has since become a BeyHive fan favorite. Well, it seems that the Queen B will soon be hitting the studio with the man behind the tune, Ne-Yo, for her next album.

He confirmed the pairing on Friday to MTV News backstage at [article id="1698578"]Jingle Ball in New York City[/article]. "I actually just spoke to her tonight about that before we got here," he said several days ago about the upcoming studio meet-up. "So definitely going to get in some stuff with her."

And, while fans have high expectations for B's highly anticipated [article id="1698392"]2013 album release[/article], Ne-Yo is working overtime to make sure he gives fans what they are waiting for. He added, "Who knows? Maybe we'll get another 'Irreplaceable' out of the batch. You never know."

In addition to Ne-Yo, Beyoncé has also hit the studio with the likes on Jay-Z, The-Dream and Miguel. "I'm excited to hear the direction of her new material, and hopefully come up with something that's really special and really showcases her perspective," the Grammy-nominated Miguel told MTV News earlier this fall. She has also been rumored to be recording with Justin Timberlake; though that remains a rumor and pop music lover's dream.

The-Dream previously teased that something new from Beyoncé [article id="1698337"]might drop by February[/article], timed to her performance at the Super Bowl in New Orleans. "She's already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out," he said. "I'm sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here."

While fans have yet to hear those new tracks, two images from her partnership with Pepsi (the folks who sponsor the Super Bowl halftime show) have been released. One image features a kissy-faced Beyoncé pushing a shopping cart full of the soda pop, while the other is a close-up of the singer. The latter will appear on her very own line of limited-edition soda cans. The deal is reportedly worth $50,000,000. She will also star in a commercial for the soft drink brand.

"Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve," Beyoncé says of the new collaboration. "As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity."

Additionally, Pepsi logos will display prominently on her 2013 tour. The company will also work to pick out local talent to play on stops during the trek.
