And, it just so happens that one of the fellas in the group has been anointed with the task of shooting parts of the August 2013 release.

"And Niall's got a camera, so he's going to film some of the film," Louis Tomlinson dished to MTV News on Monday, when the guys were in the Big Apple promoting their [article id="1697936"]just-released action figures[/article].

Calling what he's been handed by the crew a "proper camera," Niall Horan added, "They've given me a camera for the movie, so we're going to be going around."

With the film months and months and months away from its August 30 release date, the chart-topping fivesome have already been banking footage for the flick. So, fans look forward to hours and hours of 1D goodness to pull from.

"Well we've been kind of [filming], we've always had a camera with us," Niall shared. "Like when we were touring America in the summer, we had like a camera with us every day and we were just kind of documenting stuff cause if it ever did come to a movie, then we'd have stuff ready for it. So we've already kind of started and the cameras are already coming out on the road with us a bit more now. Obviously doing [Madison Square Garden] next week and then the [article id="1682975"]tour all year next year[/article], hopefully it'll turn out as well as we want it too."

And, they feel that with [article id="1697993"]Spurlock calling the shots[/article] they will really capture the experience of being in 1D at this very moment in time. "Morgan works well because like you said, he did a lot of documentary movies," Niall said. "That's more so what we want our movie to be. It's going to be a concert movie, but with a documentary side than concert side so we wanted to give it like get our personalities across because the fans know us, but we want them to know us deeper."

Liam Payne added, "I think he's come up with a lot of interesting concepts and stuff for films, so it's just going to be really exciting to work with him and see what he comes out of the bag with for us."
