'No,' Rihanna And I Are Not Dating, Chris Brown Says

'We're working on our friendship now,' Breezy tells Power 106's Big Boy during a Los Angeles radio interview on Friday.

Chris Brown may love Rihanna, but the superstar singer says that the two are definitely not an item.

"No," said Breezy immediately after Power 106 radio host Big Boy asked him if he was dating his ex on Los Angeles radio on Friday (November 9) morning. "And that's just quick, a quick answer."

The public's curiosity is certainly understandable. After all, on October 5, the "Take You Down" singer did release a viral video titled [article id="1695001"]"The Real Chris Brown"[/article]where he professed his love for both Rih Rih and Karrueche Tren, who he recently broke up with. "When I feel a certain, an urge, whether it's music or it's an emotion, I feel the need to share with people because it's an experience and a life lesson," Chris said of the video, which sparked a ton of conversation and speculation.

Still, Brown maintains that he didn't leave Tren to jump into a relationship with Rihanna, who first split with Chris after he attacked her in February 2009. But he can't deny his feelings either. "With that it's just me being honest with myself. Me and her have history and me and her are definitely always going to be best of friends. And we're working on our friendship now," he said.

The pair has been working on [article id="1694969"]their friendship[/article] for quite some time, actually. This year, the two were spotted at a nightclub, greeted each other at the 2012 MTV VMAs and recorded a handful of tracks together including [article id="1696826"]"Nobodies Business,"[/article] which will appear on Rihanna's Unapologetic LP.

It's hard not to notice the rekindling of their high-profile flame, but if CB had his way, everyone would just butt out. "As far as our personal life, I think people just got to give it a chance -- or not even give it a chance, shut the hell up is basically what it is," he said. "I'm not trying to rush into anything, put any rings on anybody's finger or lie to anybody. I just rather be completely honest, express my feelings."

Not only did Chris grant Big Boy's Neighborhood a rare interview, he also chose to premiere his new single "Nobody's Perfect" (not to be confused with he and Rihanna's "Nobodies Business"). The fist-pumping dance single find the lovelorn singer crooning "Nobody's perfect, but you."

We wonder who he could be singing about.
