Justin Bieber wasn't joking when he tweeted that a pre-show dose of milk led to him [article id="1694712"]vomiting on stage[/article] last weekend.

When the singer called into TMZ on Tuesday, he confirmed that the dairy product played a major part in the onstage vomit incident last Saturday (September 29) in Arizona. But, it wasn't just the milk that made the singer ill.

"Basically, in Canada, we like to have spaghetti and milk. I don't know if you guys do that," he told the gossip site. "But, I don't know if it was such a good idea before my show, but I had a big glass of milk before my show and I was feeling it like five songs in."

Video of the incident went viral pretty quickly. And even though Bieber shared some regrets for eating a heavy pre-show meal, it all ended up working out in the end. "It was great. The show still went smoothly after that," he said. "I went back out there and finished it, and it was a great show."

Bieber will take the stage in Los Angeles at the Staples Center on Wednesday night (October 3), for his second show in the City of Angels. Bieber has dates on his Believe tour slated for stops all across the globe right through May 2013. When he hits the Big Apple in November, he has also penciled in a gig playing the [article id="1694810"]Victoria's Secret Fashion Show[/article], slated to air on CBS in December, where he'll be joined by Rihanna and Bruno Mars.
