Ed Sheeran has gifted the boys of One Direction with two tracks for their upcoming November album release, [article id="1692939"]Take Me Home[/article]. And, if Directioners are wondering how Sheeran and the boy band will follow-up "Moments" (a ballad he wrote for their debut album, Up All Night), he explained that they will do so by once again swimming in familiar love-song territory.

"The two songs that I wrote for One Direction's album are, they're the same subject matter as the last song I wrote for the last album 'cause they're from the same batch of songs," he revealed to MTV News. "They're both about my ex-girlfriend."

While he tried to keep the specifics about the songs as secretive as possible, he did share that one of the songs might end up being a follow-up release to their latest single, [article id="1694155"]"Live While We're Young."[/article] "One of them is kind of a getting-back together song. One of them is an appreciation song," he said. "I can't say the titles. The song that I think will be the single, one of the singles, is kind of a very sweet song."

And, by the sounds of it, it certainly will leave fans swooning. "It was written about the best things about someone, kind of like the things you wouldn't expect," he said. "You'll have to hear it. I can't really say too much 'cause it's their album. I want them to be the first ones to announce it and stuff."

Previously, Sheeran shared that the [article id="1690503"]songs he wrote for 1D[/article] were penned several years ago and are now seeing the light of day, thanks to his friendship with the fivesome. "Seventeen-year-old Ed just wrote a lot of love songs, so expect to hear a lot of love songs on their album, I guess," Sheeran explained. "I had a wicked girlfriend at 17. ... She was great. Actually [my] + album is pretty much about her," he went on to reveal. "So she spawned off a lot of songs."
