'Kourtney & Kim Take Miami' Returns With New Kardashian Additions

Baby Penelope and Kim's new kitten, named after Kanye West's track, 'Mercy,' will join the family starting in January.

Kourtney and Kim Kardashian are readying for another season of their "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" spin-off, "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami." The show will premiere in January 2013, per the network.

The E! network also confirms that production on the series begins this week, just as the girls celebrated Sunday night's season finale of that other Kardashian-centric series, "Keeping Up." In addition to Kim and Kourtney, Khloé will also be a featured player on the series.

"Dash Miami today was crazy! Such cute stuff!" Kim tweeted on Sunday.

"Did a little shopping & re-merchandised the store!"

Kourtney also tweeted about arriving in town, sharing, "Adios NYC...hola Miami!."

The season finale of "Keeping Up" certainly set up some interesting storylines for the next season of "Take Miami." The episode was all about the Kardashians thinking about expanding their family. During the episode, Kourtney gave birth to [article id="1689210"]her daughter, Penelope[/article], while Khloé and Kim weighed fertility options. Lamar Odom's best girl, Khloé, visited the doctor to find out why she hasn't gotten pregnant yet, while Kim looked into freezing her eggs for the future.

Also, Kim's guy Kanye West stopped by the episode, sharing at [article id="1685402"]Kourtney's baby shower[/article] that he wanted to someday have a family. No word yet on if Kanye and Kim's relationship will also make it on to "Take Miami," but considering how often he appeared on the last season of "Keeping Up" it seems possible that he may also make a cameo or two on this series.

While they have yet to have a baby, Kim did show off her newest bundle of joy, a Persian kitten she named after one of her beau's songs, "Mercy," on Twitter over the weekend.
