'Jersey Shore' Final Season Gets 'Real,' Vinny Says

'This whole experience of "Jersey Shore" changed my life, and I think America watched me grow up from the time I was 21 to 25," Vinny tells MTV News.

Many fans were shocked when it was announced that this would be the end of "Jersey Shore," but don't stop fist pumping yet, because there is still one more wild season in store. On Thursday, October 4, the sixth and final season kicks off, and according to "Jersey Shore" star Vinny Guadagnino, they are definitely going out with a bang.

"It was one of my favorite ones because it showed us in a real way. We started this whole experience as kids who wanted to party, now its kids who are pregnant and having a baby and how we react to that, how we deal with that," Vinny recently told MTV News of how they had to adjust Shore living due to Snooki's pregnancy. "We came together in this house, we still bicker all the time, we fight, but I think we came together."

And with the cast being closer than ever, it makes it all the more difficult to say goodbye to not only each other, but to the Shore house they have called "home" for three summers.

"You film there two months straight in Seaside so there was a part that was like 'Alright I just want to go home,' " Vinny said of the last day of filming.

Even though Vinny may not be partying along the Seaside boardwalk anymore, it doesn't mean he's not grateful for this memorable experience.

"It's definitley sad just because this whole experience of Jersey Shore changed my life and I think America watched me grow up from the time I was 21 to 25 and that's going to be coming to an end, but at the same time it's also opened a lot of doors. I'm really trying to look forward and not look back unless I'm reminiscing," Vinny said. "But we're always going to be a family together, and hopefully we'll be doing different things that people can catch up with us in different ways."

Could one of those "different ways" be a spin-off show with best friend Pauly D?

"I feel like something has to happen doing that because when people watch "Jersey Shore" they constantly tweet me and Pauly like, 'We love you guys,' " Vinny said. "And he is what gets me through the show."

The final season of "Jersey Shore" kicks off on Thursday, October 4, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
