MTV's favorite former bad girl, Kristin Cavallari, has given birth to her first child. The standout star of [article id="1677732"]"Laguna Beach" and "The Hills"[/article] took to Twitter on Wednesday (August 8) to announce the birth of her son with fiancé Jay Cutler.

"We are thrilled to welcome Camden Jack Cutler into the world," she tweeted. "He was born this morning [Wednesday] weighing 7lbs 9oz. Everyone is doing great!"

Cavallari surprised fans when she first [article id="1677700"]announced her pregnancy[/article] in January. "We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together," the couple said in a statement at the time. "It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family."

She later thanked her Twitter followers for sending love to her and her [article id="1677804"] "little bun in the oven"[/article] in the wake of the announcement.

Cutler was also excited by the prospect of becoming a first-time dad and used the time to clarify some incorrect information floating around about the couple. Only months before announcing the pregnancy, Cavallari and Cutler [article id="1675147"]got re-engaged in November 2011[/article] after taking some time apart earlier that summer.

"We couldn't be more excited," he wrote. "We don't usually comment on our relationship but for the record I never broke up with Kristin. It's unfortunate some people are saying hurtful things during such a joyous moment in our life."

With the relationship drama behind them, Cavallari began prepping for her baby in May with a baby shower, which also served as a bit of a "Hills" reunion with pals Heidi Montag and Stephanie Pratt in attendance.
