Olympics Playlist: DJ Pauly D Crafts A Soundtrack For Victory

'Jersey Shore' star picks some of the hip-hop and pop artists he'd pick for his Summer Games playlist.

There's only a few days left before the Olympics wraps up with its [article id="1690710"]star-studded Closing Ceremony[/article]. That means the remaining athletes will be in need of serious jams to ensure a strong finish.

In case this year's Olympians have grown tired of their pump-up soundtracks, "Jersey Shore" star DJ Pauly D shared with MTV News the best music to carry them through.

"My Olympics playlist, it's gonna be a lot of dance music. So definitely throw Rihanna on there," he told MTV News this week. "And I like hip-hop too, so throw on some Lil Wayne, some 2 Chainz, 50 Cent."

That 50 Cent suggestion is unsurprising given that Pauly is not only one of the faces of [article id="1691259"]Fiddy's SK Energy Drink[/article] brand, but also one of the signees on his G-Note record label.

Some of Pauly's submissions mirror those the [article id="1690536"]Olympic athletes[/article] told MTV News earlier this summer when we caught up with several U.S. Olympians and got them to share what they play to get themselves pumped up for the games.

Betsey Armstong, who went for gold in water polo during the games, said her choice pump-up music included "a lot of rap music, a lot of Jay-Z, Drake, Rihanna."

Before she was eliminated in the fencing tournament in London, Dagmara Wozniak shared that she has similar taste as the "Jersey Shore" star. "I like Kanye West, Lady Gaga," she explained.
