The BEP frontman enlisted the help of the teen dream for his solo album, #willpower. And while, the album is full of collaborations, will.i.am had a reason for getting the 18-year-old involved with the release.
"I like him because he's going to be around for a long time," he told MTV News. "And he's really talented." will went on to gush about the star, but he wouldn't reveal much when it came to what their tune will sound like, teasing, "You'll have to hear it."
In addition to discussing the Believe singer, will noted that he's almost done with the album: "[I'm a] couple weeks away from completion, so we'll have Bieber on the record, Eva Simons on the album, LMFAO, Ne-Yo, a lot of cool folks."
It's also been rumored that Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, Swedish House Mafia, Shakira, Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz may all appear on the record, set to drop later this year. Those names haven't been confirmed, but onetime Pussycat Doll and "X Factor" judge Nicole Scherzinger has laid down her vocals for the album.
"There's classical sh--, like just me and a guitar and an orchestra or me with just an orchestra and a kid's choir," will.i.am told Billboard back in June about the solo effort. "There's some ghetto, ugly, dirty stuff. And then there's dance stuff, global world stuff and, like, avant-garde, left-of-center, for-art's-sake music that has nothing to do with getting played on the radio. I'm just art-ing out. It's pretty diverse."
