Adele's Baby Due In September?

Source tells British tabloid the 24-year-old singer 'stopped exercising a few months ago, and since then it's been all about the baby.'

Less than two weeks after announcing she is [article id="1688817"]expecting her first child[/article], a new report claims Adele might be further along in her pregnancy than originally expected.

According to the British tabloid Heat, a source close to the singer shared that the "Someone Like You" songstress might give birth as soon as September. "Adele has barely left the house in recent months, so she could keep this to herself for as long as possible," the insider says.

If she is due in September, she would have been expecting at the [article id="1679279"]Grammy Awards[/article] back in February. Adele hasn't made very many public appearances since her dazzling performance and wins that night. While she skipped the Billboard Awards in May, Heat notes that when she appeared at the Ivor Novello Awards that same month, she was sporting a loose-fitting dress. She also did no press that night.

The source adds that these days Adele's focus has been on her growing bundle of joy. "She stopped exercising a few months ago," the insider said. "And since then it's been all about the baby."

Adele has yet to make an official confirmation about the report.

She announced her baby news June 29, via a message on her blog. "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," Adele wrote in a post titled "I've Got Some News" on her website. "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time."

The 24-year-old hitmaker is expecting the baby with her beau, 36-year-old Simon Konecki, a former financier and co-founder of the U.K. bottled-water company Life Water.
