Lily Allen is reportedly expecting her second child. According to a new report out of the U.K., the singer and her hubby, businessman Sam Cooper, might soon have another bundle of joy in their household.

Sources tell the Daily Mirror that the singer is three months along and the couple are "over the moon" about the pregnancy. Allen gave birth to daughter Ethel Mary last November. "Lily has started telling her friends, and everybody in her close circle is so excited for her," an insider said.

The friend of the singer added, "It was a surprise, but Lily and Sam are thrilled. The pair of them have loved every minute of parenthood so far and wanted to expand their brood quickly. So it's great timing."

The pregnancy comes as Lily begins her return to celebrity life. She is working on new music, and she was worried that people would begin to catch on to the pregnancy at a recent public outing in London. "Lily was sure people were going to cotton on to the fact she had a pregnancy bump but she seemed to get away with it thanks to wearing very baggy clothing," the source said. "Her bump has popped out very early -- far earlier than the last pregnancy. She's been joking she feels six months pregnant already."

A rep for the singer had not responded to MTV News' request for comment by press time.

Allen and Cooper began dating in the summer of 2009. They got [article id="1654983"]engaged while vacationing in Indonesia in December of that year[/article]. It has been a somewhat rocky path for the couple. In November 2010, Allen suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage, her second. Shortly thereafter, she was hospitalized with septicaemia, a dangerous infection characterized by the presence of bacteria in the blood. Allen and Cooper [article id="1665628"]married in June 2011 in England[/article], when she was pregnant with Ethel.

For her part, while she hasn't been tweeting about her second pregnancy, yet, Allen has tweeted several times about the food she's been eating.
