During "MTV First: Sean Kingston," the chart-topping artist will talk about his recovery from the near-fatal accident and his plans to get back in the recording studio. The special is set to air at 7:57 p.m. ET on MTV and then continue for 30 minutes on MTV.com. Fans first learned of the accident that landed [article id="1664816"]Kingston in a Miami hospital[/article] trauma ward during this past Memorial Day weekend. He suffered from a broken jaw, a fractured wrist and [article id="1664871"]water in his lungs[/article]. Nearly four weeks after the accident, the [article id="1666054"]"Beautiful Girls" singer tweeted a photo[/article] of himself from what looked like his hospital bed. He was [article id="1666290"]released[/article] in late June.
On "MTV First," Sean will open up about the cause of the jet-ski accident and go into detail about the various medical procedures he underwent to treat his injuries. The singer will also speak candidly about how the accident helped him to focus on living a healthier lifestyle. And, of course, we'll find out what's up next for the star in his music career.
