Kate Hudson Talks Pregnancy, Engagement Rumors

'I just want to be happy,' she says on 'The Graham Norton Show.'

As rumors began to circulate that [article id="1655788"]Kate Hudson and her Muse rocker beau, Matthew Bellamy[/article], are planning to marry, the actress appeared on the BBC's "The Graham Norton Show" to confirm her pregnancy but shut down the speculation that the couple are also tying the knot.

"I'm just starting to pop," she told host Norton, in an episode airing Friday. "We have a couple of names but we're not telling anyone. People tell you so much [about being pregnant], it drives me nuts," she said, according to The Daily Mail.

And her 7-year-old son, Ryder, apparently has some theories about his future sibling. "It feels like a girl, but I don't know," she explained. "Ryder thinks it's a girl.'

Hudson and Ryder's dad, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, divorced several years ago, and she said that just because she's pregnant doesn't mean she and Bellamy, who have been together for about nine months, are planning their wedding yet.

"No, no, not that I know of! I don't like putting that sort of pressure on it and I don't feel it necessary to get married," she said. "I am 31, I already have one child and have had one divorce, so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy."

It's the first time Hudson has publicly addressed the pregnancy. Her mom, actress [article id="1656498"]Goldie Hawn[/article], did talk about her growing family in a recent chat with UsMagazine.com. "I'm excited! It's exciting," she said. "You know, we're just all very happy ... happy for them both. What's more to say?"
