Justin Bieber Is Recording Acoustic Album For The 'Haters'

November 22 LP is for those who say, 'Justin Bieber can't sing. His voice is all Auto-Tuned,' teen superstar tells MTV News.

Justin Bieber has twice shown fans into his world, thanks to 2009's My World and the 2010 smash follow-up, My World 2.0. On November 22, the singer will do it again, unplugging for his third project, [article id="1650194"]My Worlds Acoustic.[/article]

Fans got a taste of what Bieber's latest will sound like when the video for the [article id="1651179"]acoustic version of "Never Say Never" premiered[/article] over the weekend, and it's clear he has a mission for this album: to prove he's a great singer.

"I really think that I did an acoustic album because there's a lot of haters out there that say, 'Justin Bieber can't sing. His voice is all Auto-Tuned,' " he told MTV News at an L.A. signing for his book "Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story." "And there's a lot with production, it kind of drowns out your voice, and it takes away from the singer, over the synths and everything."

My Worlds Acoustic will be a response to his critics, Justin explained. "I think kind of stripping it down and having it kind of really mellow and being able to hear my voice is why I wanted to do it."

While Bieber didn't want to reveal too much, he confirmed a brand-new track will be included on the LP.

"A lot of [the songs] from My World 2.0. 'Baby' was redone, and then we got an extra song on there that no one's ever heard, and it's a really inspiring song too. ... Can't really talk about that song yet."
