Justin Bieber scored four nods, while B.o.B, Katy Perry, Ke$ha and Usher are each up for three. Lady Gaga, the Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna and Drake are also nominated in various categories.
Eminem is nominated for Favorite Male Artist in both the Pop or Rock (up against Bieber and Usher) and Hip-Hop categories, Favorite Album in both the Pop or Rock and Hip-Hop categories, and Artist of the Year (where he'll face off against Gaga, Perry, Bieber and Ke$ha). Bieber's four nods are for Favorite Male Artist - Pop or Rock, Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Album of the Year - Pop or Rock for My World 2.0.
While Aguilera is preparing to promote "Burlesque" and perform at the AMAs, she also recently announced her divorce from her husband, Jordan Bratman. "It's not easy, and there have been a lot of tears and sadness," she says in the December issue of Redbook magazine. "Out of respect for my husband, I prefer to keep the specifics private. Right now, I'm just trying to figure out how to make it through each day."
